This article is one of the best articles I've read regarding the subject:
10 Reasons I Kissed Halloween Goodbye
You may disagree with the article's reasons (though be sure you are disagreeing with the article rather than Scripture :-) ). I hesitate to even post anything about it as I'd kind of rather ignore it in some ways as it is so controversial and touchy for most people, but I decided to post it anyway because the article's reasons are so closely aligned to our family's reasons. I don't really want to get into a huge debate over it, but this is our view in case you are interested. And if you disagree....I'll still love you, anyway :-).

I shared the same article on Facebook and was soundly scolded for it by several people.
We don't celebrate it either and it's nice to hear others believe the same things.
Blessings,
Betsy
We celebrate Reformation Day.
I linked to the same article on facebook a couple of days ago and was soundly attacked by a few people. We also choose not to celebrate Halloween in any way. We will share our reasons with anyone who asks but we don't argue about it. In my experience though, most people get very defensive as to why they DO celebrate when they find out that we don't.
Thanks for this post.
Blessings,
Betsy
Thanks for sharing - I did not read the article but will if I have time. I just wanted to say I appreciate you taking a stand publicly against halloween. Maybe if more professing christians did that it would help wake others up.
God bless you.
