Crockpot Super Short Ribs

This is a new recipe that I'm trying out today, so I'm not sure if it is a keeper yet. I will post a recipe review for it once we've tried it.
*Update: These were AWESOME! Even my husband, who doesn't really like ribs, liked these. The meat just fell off the bone and the sauce was very tasty! I will definitely make these again!*

Crockpot Super Short Ribs

3/4 cup brown sugar
1 can crushed pineapple
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup ketchup
2 Tbsp cornstarch
2 Tbsp soy sauce
3-4 lbs short ribs

Place the ribs in the crockpot. Combine the sauce ingredients together in saucepan and boil until thick. Pour sauce over ribs and cook on low for about 8 hours.

Mmmmmm...atop some jasmine rice with chopped scallions & cilantro (aka chinese parsley)...sounds divine.

I live in a very hot climate, which brings with it an overwhelming desire for cool & crunchy. I'm about to prepare a fresh mushroom & fennel salad.
