A Reminder

Yesterday served as a bit of a wake-up call and reminder. I won't go into details, but something that we were worried could be serious turned out to be absolutely nothing of concern (and yes, we had over-reacted and jumped to the worst possible conclusion!). BUT...it served as a big wake-up call that life can get turned upside down in a moment...and it does for many people.

It reminded us to be compassionate toward, care for, and help those going through a crisis.
It reminded us that God is sovereign and in control.
It reminded us of the important things in life - like faith and family.
It reminded us to not take each other for granted.
It reminded us to not sweat the small stuff.
It reminded us to lavish more love and affection on our daughter.
It reminded us to spend quality time together as a family.
It reminded us to hold hands more.
It reminded us to cherish our time spent together as heirs together of the grace of life.
It reminded us to pray more.
It reminded us to share the gospel more.
It reminded us to trust God more.
It reminded us.
